Rusell Brand is back with another insipid episode of The Trews to little or no fanfare. Today fans can listen to Brand rant on about a nice advert from Denmark, his SOAS course, taxonomies, categorising people and whatnot, in his usual floral and bombastic style.
Its not really news, but it does involve several somewhat interesting and nice ideas; though the advert does conclude with the impression that all those in the advert for Danish television are bound by patriotism (their “love of Denmark”) which, presumably, is a somewhat broad and sweeping categorisation of precisely the type that flies in the face of all of Brand’s apparent reading of the same advert.
Some lovely truisms; none of which constitute true news. 4/10.
