UK & Irish Horse Racing Tips for Friday 24th October 2014

There is racing across the UK and Ireland on the afternoon and evening of Friday 24th October 2014, with meeting scheduled to take place at Doncaster, Fakenham, Newbury and Wolverhampton in the UK,  and an evening card of all weather races at Dundalk in Ireland.

Racing at Doncaster and Newbury are turf, flat meetings, while the card at Fakenham is all National Hunt. Wolverhampton’s evening meeting is on their Tapeta flat track.

At Doncaster, our suggested Best Bet is FIGMENT (NAP) which goes in the 2.20 for John gosden under William Buick. This two year old showed some promise first time out when fourth at Newcastle, and with that run under his belt should go close today. Best price 6/4 with bet365.

For the meeting at Fakenham, we suggest waiting until the last race, at 5.20, when our Best Bet is KIAMA BAY (NAP) under Jason Maguire, who is suggested as a strong each-way opportunity in novice hurdle company. Best price 4/1 with bet365.

Over at Newbury, our suggested Best Bet is the G Moss trained top weight, ARROWZONE (NAP) who, with three wins under his belt already this season, has the class to lift this 4.30 1m7f event under Jimmy Fortune. At a best price of 8/1 with bet365, this looks to be a good each-way opportunity.

This evening, at Wolverhampton, we have two Best Bets, Karl Burke’s MILLAR ROSE (NAP) in the 6.15 sprint will take some beating, while we also suggest THE FIRM in the last race at 9.20 as an excellent each-way bet in this handicap over an extended mile. Millar Rose is available at 10/3 with bet365, while The Firm is 11/2 with the same bookmaker, on early prices.

Our recommended selections for every UK and Irish race meeting are detailed below.
