UK General Election 2010: Yvette Cooper Keeps Normanton, Pontefract & Castleford for Labour

Yvette Cooper - MP for Cas, Ponte & Normanton

Yvetter Cooper has retained her safe Labour seat of Normanton, Pontefract & Castleford in West Yorkshire. However, the Conservative have increased their share of the vote in the area by 12.5% – a surprising statistic given the strong coal mining heritage of the area.
