Trailer Trash Tracys – “Dies In 55” – Full Album Out January 2012

The Trailer Trash Tracys have just been signed to Double Six – the sister label to Domino Records. As part of the celebrations, the group have released a taster track from their upcoming album, scheduled for release in January 2012.

The backing track of “Dies in 55” can be likened to African-inspired arpeggios played on a church organ – a lovechild of Mike Oldfield and Phil Collins. The ethereal vocals which deliver lyrics infused with Sufi poetry, carry a Cistercian vibe through the laid back and heady single.

The band is made up of Suzanne Aztoria, Jimmy Lee, Adam Jaffrey and Dayo James. They will now join Spiritualized, Jon Hopkins and John Cale at the Double Six family.
