Religion: Catholic Service to take place at C of E Cathedral

A unique exchange will take place on Tuesday 25th May, when Father John Newman from St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church will lead Vespers at Bradford Cathedral in the first Roman Catholic service to be held there in over 450 years.

Bradford Roman Catholic Boys’ Choir will join forces with boys of the Bradford Cathedral Choir to sing the traditional evening prayers.

A “return match” is scheduled for the Autumn, when Very Revd Dr David Ison will lead evensong at St Joseph’s with the help of the boys from the Cathedral Choir.

Vespers at Bradford Cathedral will take place at 5.30pm on Tuesday 25th May. 1 Stott Hill Bradford BD1 4EH.
