Twitter shares will begin trading at 09:30 EST on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker NYSE: TWTR.
70 million shares of common stock priced at $26 per share have been issued as part of the Initial Public Offering via Goldman, Sachs & Co, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, BofA Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank Securities. Allen & Company LLC and CODE Advisors are the co-managers.
The share issue values Twitter at $1.8 billion. Twitter has over 230 million monthly active users, 76% of whom are on mobile. The company was incorporated on 19th April 2007 and now has more than 2,000 employees in offices worldwide.
