Whether we use them to tell our friends about great articles we’ve read, or videos we just watched, many of us use Social Media to share – and receive – links every day.
From micro-blogging websites like Twitter – which, with their shortened format are perfect for quickly grabbing a URL for “followers – to all-encompassing life-platforms like Facebook, social media is fast becoming the go-to source for content related to our needs: because it’s recommended by real people who actively wish to engage with.
But which platform do you like best for sharing – and receiving – links to great content, and why?
Tell us by selecting your favourite Social Media sharing tool in The Global Herald poll below. If there’s a service which you use that is not present, simply leave a comment (below) and we’ll try to add it to our poll. If you’d like to explain the reasons for your choices, please feel free to leave a comment below, too.
The current selection includes Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Google+, Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit and old fashioned Email, which, while not strictly speaking a social media sharing tool, is still a very popular method of sharing links among communities. You may select you favourite three below.
