Multiple Google Services go down Internationally

Multiple Google services have gone down, across the globe, including Gmail, Google Docs, YouTube, as well as some Google Cloud Console (GSC) services, and services which rely upon Google for authentication, at around 12 noon GMT on 14 December 2020.

At the time of publication, most of these services remained down after around 15 minutes, with the UK YouTube homepage showing a picture of a monkey holding a claw hammer.

Other services which are unavailable include Google Analytics, though Google’s main product, search, and it’s Adsense appears unaffected – in that ads do deliver – while Google Adwords is also inaccessible.

Many services which require Google to authenticate users show a simple “Error 500” message, which looks like the below image:

UPDATE: Services began working around 12:25 PM GMT; though Google’s status tool here shows some may still be generally unavailable.
