Tara Jane Langston became briefly famous online after posting videos of herself from a hospital bed in March 2020, after she contracted the novel coronavirus.
Some people claimed the videos were “Fake!” and “didn’t happen” on social media, but news outlets were able to verify her story.
She is an otherwise fit and healthy individual, a 39 year old British mum, who still required hospital care after contracting Covid-19.

Tara Langston is a British 39 year old woman, who was otherwise fit and healthy, who caught novel coronavirus (Covid-19, SARS-CoV-2) in March 2020.
She spent time in an intensive care unit (ICU) in a hospital, during which she posted a video onto social media imploring people “don’t take any chances” with the virus.
She said “you don’t appreciate your breath until it is taken” in an ITV News story.
After she was released from hospital, on March 26, she did a live interview with Good Morning Britain.
During the interview she explained that she had been in the hospital for a total of nine days, and was in ICU for a total of three days.
Tara Langston was released from hospital on Sunday 22 March 2020.
