On 25th November 2020, Meghan Markle revealed in an op-ed for the New York Times that she had suffered a miscarriage in July 2020 during the global coronavirus pandemic. Living in the US at the time, the royal explained how she had attended hospital with her husband, Prince Harry, and hoped to advocate for others experiencing the same loss by speaking out.
