Locust
Locust in Summary
Locusts are a collection of short-horned grasshoppers which have a swarming phase. They are often referred to as a “plague of locusts”. There is no technical difference between a locust and a grasshopper other than this propensity to swarm. During swarms, locusts can cause great damage to crops.
