Brief Biography of Singer Duffy
Duffy – full name Aimee Anne Duffy – is a Welsh singer, most famous for her 2017 Rockferry album, which was both critically acclaimed, and a commercial success in the UK and USA. She won several awards for songs from the album, and the album itself, including a Grammy (Pop Vocal Album, 2009, Winner, Rockferry) and three BRIT Awards.
After a follow up album, Endlessly, released in 2010, the singer was absent for many years from commercial music releases, taking an “extended hiatus” which was announced in February 2011.
On 25 February 2020, the singer announced on social media platform, Instagram, that she had been absent for so long because of an attack during which she was kidnapped, raped and held captive for several days.
