Sudan: Government Will Accept Referendum Result, if Vote “Done in the Right Way”

Sudanese foreign minister (above), Ali Karti, has indicated that his Government will accept the result of the forthcoming referendum, which proposes to split Sudan, providing that vote is “done in the right way”.

Karti says that if the UN and other officials accept the vote, then so will his Government.

Southern Sudan is due to vote on Secession on the 9th January 2011.
