Carissa Moore won the Roxy Pro Gold Coast surfing competition in Australia on 8th March 2011 after beating Tyler Wright with a score of 15.34.
The victory is Moore’s fourth on the ASP World Tour, including wins in New Zealand and Portugal last season en route to finishing the year No.3 in the rankings. The 18-year-old Hawaiian is now World Number 1, knocking Aussie Stephanie Gilmore off the top spot.
