In the women’s semi finals of the Roland Garros French Open, Na Li of China will face Maria Sharapova of Russia on Court Philippe Chatrier with a 2pm start. They will be followed by Marion Bartoli of France facing up to Francesca Schiavone of Italy.

Sharapova cruised to the semi-finals with a victory of 6-0, 6-3 against Andrea Petkovic. Na Li had a more testing match against Victoria Azarenka of Belarus of 7-5, 6-2. Last year’s winner, Francesca Schiavone went a few more games against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova with a score of 1-6, 7-5, 7-5 while Marion Bartoli kept it short with a 7-6, 6-4 victory against Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Meanwhile the men are having rest ahead of semi-finals of Andy Murray versus Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer versus Novak Djokovic.
