Tennis: Murray and Djokovic Through to Shanghai Masters Semi-Finals

Andy Murray blitzed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-2 6-2 while Novak Djokovic defeated Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-2 6-3 as the in-form pair made the Semi-Finals of the Shanghai Masters tennis.

Scottish hopeful, Andy Murray dropped only four games in a commanding performance against Frenchman Tsonga, breaking twice in each set en-route to a solid victory. Murray will face Juan Monaco of Argentina, who came from a set behind to beat Austria’s Jurgen Meltzer  6-7 (6-8) 7-5 6-2.

Meanwhile, Djokovic set up an enthralling rematch with Roger Federer by defeating Garcia-Lopez of Spain 6-2 6-3. Federer looked in imperious form, however, as he crushed Robin Soderling 6-1 6-1.
