Tom Daley is Diving World Champion

Tom Daley last night won gold in the 10m diving World Championship contest held in Rome. The 15 year old is also one of the UK’s youngest Olympians – he was 14 at the Beijing Olympics and had previously had special dispensation to compete in the Australian Youth Olympic Festival at the age of ten.

Daley finished with a flourish – receiving four tens for a three-and-a-half back somersault for his performance.
