After a superb season leading the charge for the Kansas Jayhawks’ defense, Marcus Garrett takes home Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Matisse Thybulle, last season’s winner of the award, joins CBS Sports HQ to announce Garrett as the winner. Garrett joins to accept his award and is followed by College Basketball Insider Gary Parrish who breaks down Garrett’s deserving candidacy.
