Dubai Racing Club (DRC) serves to organise and host horseracing at Meydan Racecourse, from November through to March, including the Dubai World Cup. Formed in 1992 to further develop and promote horseracing in Dubai, the first races held under rules were contested in March 1992 at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse.
