What an exciting chaser.

Threeunderthrufive certainly looks the part and takes his record over fences to four wins from five starts with a fine success in the Grade 2 Wigley Group Hampton Novices’ Chase for trainer Paul Nicholls, jockey Adrian Heskin and owners The McNeill Family.

Threeunderthrufive serves up a jumping exhibition and is never headed in this prize, making all the running and seeing off his rivals with something to spare to set up a potential Cheltenham Festival bid in the Festival Novices’ Chase over three miles. The National Hunt Chase for amateur riders over 3m6f is also an option, while The McNeill Family sponsor the Ultima Handicap Chase on the opening day of the meeting and that could also prove a possibility.

The seven-year-old has now won nine of his 12 starts under Rules and has a potent blend of ability and strong experience at this stage of his career, making him one to note at all of the spring festivals.
