UK & Irish Horse Racing Tips, Wednesday 27 May 2015

There is a bumper selection of horse racing on offer in the UK and Ireland on Wednesday 27th May 2015, with afternoon meetings in Britain at Cartmel, Hamilton and Thirsk as well as an evening meeting on either side of the Irish Sea, in Newton Abbot and Gowran Park (Ire).

Best Four Bets

Our ratings expert has scoured the times, the track records, and the horse’s recent form to provide you with four of the best bets of the day, three of which run this evening.

Are They Your Own is our bet of the day, in the 19:00 hurdle event at Newton Abbot. The bookmakers, however, appear to agree and this horse is expected to go off at around 6/4 favourite.

If you like your odds a little longer, it might be worth waiting 20 minutes for the 7:20 event at Gowran Park, where we fancy Ringside Humour at 4/1 to take the 1m flat event from the short-priced favourite Serefeli. This is a four runner event, and the former has put down some good markers, and is the more experienced.

Also at Newton Abbot, Bang On Time represents good value in the 18:30 event, at expected odds of 7/2 in a six runner chase handicap. While he will have to contend with top weight, this horse is in good heart, and has a 7lb penalty totally reduced with a good 7lb claimer on board.

This afternoon, at Cartmel, Indepub is a value choice in the opening 14:20 event, at an expected price of 8/1 to conclude our day’s Best Four Bets.
