UK & Irish Horse Racing Tips, Tuesday 9 June 2015

There are thirty five races scheduled to take place on the afternoon and evening of Tuesday 9th June 2015 in the UK and Ireland.

An afternoon of turf flat racing is scheduled to take place at Salisbury, while there will be a card of National Hunt taking place at Fontwell.

In the evening, a mixed card of half turf, half all-weather flat racing will take place at Lingfield Park, while there are cards of jumps racing at Southwell and Ireland’s Roscommon racecourse.

Best Four Bets

As ever, we have asked our horse racing ratings expert to go through the day’s cards to arrive at a selection for every one of the races (below) as well as today’s Best Four Bets. Yesterday, the top four selections were very successful, with winners at 14/1 and 7/1 showing a 50% strike rate and a +19 level stakes profit for win backers.

The top selection for Tuesday is Zarawi which runs in the 16:10 at Fontwell. This Richard Johnson mount is carrying top weight, but has some margin on the field even with 11-10 on his back. At an expected price of 9/4, this looks good value, based on May’s Plumpton win. Must be forgiven a poor run six days later where the horse may have suffered a “bounce”.

Our next best two bets of the day both run at Roscommon, where we select Moores Road in the 19:15 and Military Road in the 20:45 at expected odds of 8/1 and 11/4 respectively.

The final selection for our Best Four Bets runs at Southwell in the 18:50: Paolozzi. We think this horse has shown enough ability to take this race by a fair margin. An expected price of 6/4 favourite does, however, reflect this.
