Our best four bests for Thursday 28 May are all over the summer jumps courses at Wetherby and Worcester. If you’re looking for a flat racing tip, our ratings guru tells us that Eltezam in the 15:20 at Haydock represents a solid chance.
The bet of the day is Promanco which goes in the 17:40 event at Wetherby, under Richard Johnson. This horse is expected to be a short-priced odds-on favourite, at around 2/5.
Our next best offers more value: Cut The Corner, at odds of 6/4, in the 19:55 at Wetherby. While this horse does tend to hang left, and may not be comfortable watching, our ratings suggest he is well in advance of today’s rivals and should justify favouritism.
Over at Worcester, our next two bets to complete our best four bets are The Game is a Foot in the 17:10 (best price 11/1) and Barneys Honour in the 16:10 (best price 4/1).
