Best Four Bets

All of yesterday’s Best Four Bets won, producing an excellent return for followers who play accumulators and Lucky 15 bets.

As ever, our ratings expert has been through today’s card to come up with four selections to mark your card ahead of the day’s racing.

The first choice for the day runs at Market Rasen in the 14:25 hurdle, Faithful Mount. There is much to like about this six year old who has translated reasonable flat performances into a 50% national hunt strike rate. If this gelding can repeat the form displayed in his Plumpton win on his penultimate start, he should prove too good for this field. Expected odds are 5/2.

Next, we have selected Island Master in the 20:25 hunter chase at Downpatrick. This six year old gelding has put down the best performances of this field under rules, while finding one or two too good on his last two starts. A repeat of those performances should see a win today.

A short priced favourite, Imtiyaaz which runs in the 20:05 event at Bath is our next selection. This filly is expected to go off at 1/4 and it therefore not one to get too excited about. She has shown enough on course to date to suggest this race is easily within her grasp.

Enumerater in the 17:45 at Downpatrick is the final choice for Friday’s racing. This six year old gelding looks to have found a good opportunity to get off the mark at the eighth time of asking in this maiden hurdle event. The market agrees, pricing this one at 13/8 favourite.
