UK Horse Racing Tips: Tuesday 6 December 2016

Three race meetings will take place in the UK on the afternoon of Tuesday 6th December 2016, as all weather flat at Southwell is augmented by jumps racing at Fontwell and Uttoxeter.

Fortuno has been through the cards again to select seven each way value tips for the afternoon, after a difficult day on Monday which saw only 1 winner, at 9/2, following the abandonment of Ludlow.

Nap of the Day is Tomkevi which is an attractive 14/1 in the 2.00 at Uttoxeter. This horse was 3lbs higher when winning a similar hurdle event at Catterick three starts ago, back in January and, while showing relatively little on his two return runs, showed steady improvement in races which surely aided fitness. Match fit and ready to run, a double figure price to make the frame on these terms appears to be value under the ride of Tony Kelly.

The Next Best for Tuesday is another runner at Uttoxeter who has shown better in the past: Akula should strip fitter for his Haydock fourth a few weeks ago, and looks to be a nice price at 12/1 in the 1.00 at Uttoxeter, where he has won before over course and distance. Weight should be no problem it it is a going day for the horse.
