Racing TV published this video item, entitled “Trainer’s six-and-a-half-year wait for a jumps’ winner is over!” – below is their description.
Trainer Carroll Gray enjoyed his first winner over jumps since 2015 (more than 160 runners during this time) when 10-year-old Bellamy’s Grey, previously winless in 20 attempts, overcame a slow start to scoop the 2m5½f handicap hurdle at Exeter. Jockey Michael Nolan was also winning his first race since June, having only recently returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines after fracturing his T5 and T6 vertebrae in a fall at Southwell. Watch what Nolan and the horse’s jubilant owners had to say.
