The Inclusive Race | Brian Finch | Rishi Persad | Josh Apiafi

At The Races published this video item, entitled “The Inclusive Race | Brian Finch | Rishi Persad | Josh Apiafi” – below is their description.

British horse Racing has long been branded The Sport of Kings, a brand many are very proud of but one that may alienate a more diverse and inclusive audience. Racing has embarked on a journey over the past 5 years to become more reflective of society in terms of diversity and inclusion. There has been progress but it has been slow and at times met with discord. However more recently we have seen excellent examples, that as a sport, racing should be immensely proud of and celebrated. In this special programme, Josh Apiafi speaks with incoming Epsom Racecourse Chair Brian Finch and broadcaster Rishi Persad to reflect on the sport’s move towards increased diversity and inclusion in The Inclusive Race.
