MASSIVE upset as Snowfall bombs out in the Vermeille behind Teona!

At The Races published this video item, entitled “MASSIVE upset as Snowfall bombs out in the Vermeille behind Teona!” – below is their description.

Teona, trained by Roger Varian and ridden by Olivier Peslier, has won the Prix Vermeille at ParisLongchamp – beating Snowfall in second.

Aidan O’Brien’s Snowfall entered the Group One contest on the back of victories in the Oaks, Irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks, but never really threatened to show the electric turn of foot that has become her trademark in a series of devastating successes.

Teona, meanwhile, has long been held in high regard by her trainer, but had been her own worst enemy this term in being hard to settle. Peslier, however, got on brilliantly with her.

Immediate reaction from Paddy Power and Betfair was to ease Snowfall to 4-1 from 9-4 for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Coral went further, pushing Snowfall out to 6-1 from 5-2 with Adayar their new Arc favourite at 4-1.
