Jockey Tom Eaves had just won the Breeders Cups Sprint on Glass Slippers, and his partner, Amy Ryan, former jockey and daughter of trainer Kevin Ryan.
Glass Slippers made Breeders’ Cup history with victory in the Turf Sprint. Glass Slippers gave Europe a first ever win in the event when scoring for North Yorkshire trainer Kevin Ryan at Keeneland.
As mentioned in the interview, having been a jockey, Amy Ryan is in the process setting up “their own yard” with Eaves. The pair had to curtail their celebrations owing to the ongoing impact of Covid-19.
