There are forty two races scheduled to take place in the UK and Ireland on Wednesday 17th June 2015, including the exciting second day of high grade flat racing on the second afternoon of Royal Ascot.
As well as Ascot, there will be racing in the afternoon on the flat at Hamilton and over jumps at Uttoxeter. In the evening, there is a flat turf meeting at Ripon, one on the all weather at Chelmsford City, and an eight race meeting over the jumps at Ireland’s Wexford.

Best Four Bets
As ever, we’ve had The Global Herald horse racing speed ratings expert evaluate today’s cards for the four horses with the highest perceived chance – in light of today’s competition – in order to select what we feel are the best four bets of the day. Please note that prices are intended as a guide only, and that all of our ratings picks for today are listed below.
The first choice for the day is Jayo Time who runs in the 14:45 at Uttoxeter. An early price of around 5/1 makes this a solid each-way prospect who looks to have found another strong opportunity to make the frame again today.
Also at Uttoxeter, in the 17:10 we select Lilly’s Legend at an anticipated SP of 10/3.
Our third selection for Wednesday is the Mark Johnston trained Lockram which runs in the 19:20 race, at an expected price of 7/2. Johnston’s youngsters are flying this season, and this horse has the best form of those we have seen on track to date. Expect another strong showing this evening.
Our final selection of the day is Uncle Tone who runs in the 14:10 event at Uttoxeter, at an expected price of 5/4.
