Horse Racing Tips, Friday 19 June 2015 – Royal Ascot Day 4

Forty seven races are scheduled to take place in the UK and Ireland on Friday 19th June on Royal Ascot 2015’s penultimate day.

As well as flat turf racing at Ascot, there is also a card of seven flat races at Redcar and a National Hunt meeting at Market Rasen in the afternoon.

Friday evening sees flat racing at Newmarket (Rowley Mile), Goodwood, and at Ireland’s Limerick, while a card of Irish National Hunt racing is scheduled to take place at Down Royal.

Best Four Bets

As with every week day, The Global Herald’s ratings expert has reviewed the entries for every British and Irish race taking place on Friday to provide selections for every race – and to arrive at the following Best Four Bets.

For the top choice, we think Myles Ahead which runs in the 18:20 at Down Royal, has an excellent chance at an expected price of 4/1. This gelding’s best displays last year would see him lift this race with plenty in hand. Rarely out of the frame, this horse ran creditably at Punchestown at the start of June in a more difficult event than this one. Can go close today.

The next selection is House Limit which is expected to start at around 2/1 in the 20:15 at Limerick. This consistent gelding makes the frame often, but looks to have found an opportunity to add to his solitary turf win in this race, an apprentice handicap with very little by way of depth.

Our final two selections both run at Market Rasen: Oneofapear in the 14:10 and Tregaro in the 16:35 which are expected to go to post at 5/1 and 4/1 respectively.
