Exciting ROYAL SCOTSMAN breaks track record in Richmond Stakes

Racing TV published this video item, entitled “Exciting ROYAL SCOTSMAN breaks track record in Richmond Stakes” – below is their description.

Royal Scotsman confirmed himself a smart performer as he justified odds-on favouritism with a clear-cut success in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood.

Third in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot previously, that form has been very well-advertised since with victory for runner-up Persian Force in the July Stakes at Newmarket and success for the fourth Blackbeard in the Prix Robert Papin.

Paul and Oliver Cole have a smart juvenile on their hands, and the Group 1 Prix Morny could be next now after this impressive victory in one of the hallmark two-year-old races of the week at the Qatar Goodwood Festival.

Blackbeard is a colt trained by Aiden O’Brien. The colt notably plays up digging and scraping at the turf before his starts, but has put in some seriously impressive performances on the track, giving him something of a cult following, already, despite being only a 2-year-old.
