The final day of the 2021 Cheltenham Festival takes place on Friday 19th March, with the main event of the week’s high end National Hunt racing, the Cheltenham Gold Cup taking place at 3.05.

Cheltenham Gold Cup 2021 Preview
In the big race of the day, we like the each-way chances of FRODON at 12/1, but for those who like longer prices, watch out for ASO at an incredibly long price – north of 100/1 – and it is also difficult to discount A PLUS TARD at 9/2.
The likely favourite will be the previous winner, Al Boum Photo, from whom a big run is always expected, but the likely price of 5/2 seems to offer little value in a race which is difficult to split. The Willie Mullins yard also sends Kemboy, at 12/1, which at 3/1 for a place seems like a better option.
On paper, this is a wide open renewal, as it should be. Some top, top class chasers are in this field, and a case could be made for most of this field of twelve. Great entertainment awaits.
