Formula 1: Hamilton on Pole for Italian Grand Prix

Defending Champion, Lewis Hamilton, has once again placed his McLaren Mercedes at the head of Formula One qualifying, after qualifying in pole for tomorrow’s Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

Ferrari new boy, Giancarlo Fisichella, however, did not make it through to the final session of qualifying, and his home fans had to settle for 14th position. His recent team-mate, Adrian Sutil, over at Force India, fared much better, finishing in second place behind Hamilton.

Ferrari fans were not left with nothing to cheer, however, as Fin Kimi Raikkonen put his car into third place.
