UEFA Champions League 2015/16 Group Stage Draw

With the final qualification playoffs out of the way, the draw for the Group Stages of the 2015/16 UEFA Champions League Group Stage took place in the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco, on Thursday 27th August 2015, with the biggest clubs in Europe in the hat.

The draw had a nice even feel about it, somewhat unsurprisingly, given the amount of seeding which takes place to ensure the giants are spread across the eight groups, but several clubs who have faced each other memorably in recent years are drawn together again, such as Juventus and Manchester City (Group D); Arsenal and Bayern Munich (Group F); Real Madrid and PSG (Group A); while Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho will return to Porto once more in Group G.

The 2016 final will take place in Milan’s San Siro stadium.
