UEFA Champions League Group A Fixtures & Table, Tuesday 4 November 2014
- Malmo v Atletico (20:45 CET)
- Juventus v Olympiacos (20:45 CET)
GROUP A | P | W | D | L | F | A | GD | Pts |
Club Atlético de Madrid | 3 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 8 | 3 | 5 | 6 |

Juventus | 3 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 0 | 3 |
Malmö FF | 3 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 7 | -5 | 3 |
Atletico and Olympiacos lead the group by three points, and both have tricky away fixtures, meaning this group could well end the evening all square on six points each. An away victory for any team would go a long way towards securing qualification.
UEFA Champions League Group B Fixtures & Table, Tuesday 4 November 2014
- Basel v Ludogorets (20:45 CET)
- Real Madrid v Liverpool (20:45 CET)
GROUP B | P | W | D | L | F | A | GD | Pts |
Real Madrid CF | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 10 | 2 | 8 | 9 |
PFC Ludogorets Razgrad | 3 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 3 | 4 | -1 | 3 |
Liverpool FC | 3 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 5 | -3 | 3 |
FC Basel 1893 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 6 | -4 | 3 |
Real Madrid are flying in Group B, on 100% wins, and will be looking for more of the same when they entertain Liverpool FC. Liverpool will be looking for at least a point, knowing that they will need that to end the day in a qualification slot. Basel host Ludogorets with each side knowing a win will see them with one foot in the next round. Interesting.
UEFA Champions League Group C Fixtures & Table, Tuesday 4 November 2014
- Zenit v Leverkusen (18:00 CET)
- Benfica v Monaco (20:45 CET)
GROUP C | P | W | D | L | F | A | GD | Pts |
Bayer 04 Leverkusen | 3 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 5 | 2 | 3 | 6 |
AS Monaco FC | 3 | 1 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 5 |
FC Zenit | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 0 | 4 |
SL Benfica | 3 | 0 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 5 | -4 | 1 |
Tuesday’s action begins in St Petersburg, where Zenit entertain Leverkusen in the early kick-off fixture in the open Group C. With five points splitting all four teams, each of whom are capable of good football, this looks to be another entertaining set of fixtures. The group cannot be won this evening, though Benfica will know anything but a home win against Monaco may well mean they have left it too late: it is now or never for the Portuguese.
UEFA Champions League Group D Fixtures & Table, Tuesday 4 November 2014
- Arsenal v Anderlecht (20:45 CET)
- Dortmund v Galatasaray (20:45)
GROUP D | P | W | D | L | F | A | GD | Pts |
Borussia Dortmund | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 9 | 0 | 9 | 9 |
Arsenal FC | 3 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 6 | 4 | 2 | 6 |
RSC Anderlecht | 3 | 0 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 6 | -4 | 1 |
Galatasaray AŞ | 3 | 0 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 9 | -7 | 1 |
Arsenal have been picking up results with late goals of late, not least when overturning a one goal deficit against Anderlecht last time out. They will be hoping for an altogether easier time of things at home against the same club. Dortmund, meanwhile, have struggled for form in the Bundesliga, but have been excellent in Europe this term, with a 100% win record they’ll be looking to maintain at home to in-and-out Galatasaray. Two home wins this evening and Arsenal and Dortmund will be qualified with two matches remaining in Group D.
