UEFA Champions League 2013/14: Fixtures, Wednesday 18 September 2013

The second set of European clubs take part in their opening Group Stage fixtures for the UEFA Champions League 2013/14 on the evening of Wednesday 18 September 2013.

In Group E, German side Shalke entertain Steaua Bucharest, while Barclays Premier League outfit Chelsea FC host Basel.

Group F sees last year’s finalists, Borussia Dortmund, travel to Napoli, and a Champions League return for French side Marseille, who host Arsenal of the Premier League.

In Group G, Porto travel to Austria Wien and Atletico host Zenit St Petersburg.

Perennial UEFA Champions League performers, Barcelona, are in action in Group H, as they host Ajax – incredibly the first time these two giants of Europe have ever met in the Champions League. Another couple of massive European clubs complete the fixture list in Group H: AC Milan v Celtic.

All fixtures kick-off at 20.45 Central European Time (CET).
