UEFA Champions League 2013/14: Fixtures, Tuesday 17 September 2013

The UEFA Champions League is back on the evening of Tuesday 17 September 2013, as teams in eight matches battle it out to get their first three points of the 2013/14 Group Stage campaign.

Both Manchester teams will be in action for fans of the Premier League, with United hosting Bayer Leverkusen in what on paper looks to be the most interesting tie of the round. Their rivals Manchester City travel to Plzen where they’ll be hoping to begin a better campaign than recent Group Stage performances in this competition.

Also of note is Real Madrid’s away match at the cauldron of Galatasaray: will Real start with their most-expensive pair Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch?

Elsewhere, in Munich, holding champs Bayern host CSKA Moscow on the opening set of midweek fixtures.

Full fixtures for Tuesday 17 September are detailed below.
