UEFA Champions League 2011/12 Champions League Quarter Final & Semi Final Draw

Eight teams remained in the UEFA Champions League tournament for 2011/12 on Friday 16th March 2012, when the draw for the Quarter Final and Semi Final rounds took place in Nyon.

The following teams were placed into the UEFA draw for the last eight, which was made up of the usual suspects, plus the surprise package of APOEL Nicosia, of Cyprus:

  • Benfica (POR)
  • Chelsea (ENG)
  • Milan (ITA)
  • Marseille (FRA)
  • Real Madrid (ESP)

UEFA Champions League 2011/12 Champions League Quarter Final Draw

The Quarter Finals will be competed over two legs, between the following sides – the first named side plays the first leg at home:

  1. APOEL Nicosia v Real Madrid
  2. Olympique de Marseille v FA Bayern Munich
  3. SL Benfica v Chelsea F.C.
  4. AC Milan v FC Barcelona

  • Quarter-finals  (27/28 March & 3/4 April)
  • Semi-finals (26/27 April & 3/4 May)
  • Final (19 May, Fußball Arena München, 20.45 CET)
  • The winner of Semi-Final 1 will be the “home” team at the Final.
