Partick Thistle secured their spot in the Betfred Cup Quarter-Finals thanks to a superb 3-0 victory over St. Johnstone in Perth. Stevie Lawless put the Jags ahead from the spot early in the second half. Aussie star Ryan Edwards made it two soon after by curling home a superb effort from outside the box. Chris Erskine put Thistle out of sight in stoppage time, walking the ball past Steven Anderson before firing it past Alan Mannus.
