FIFA World Cup 2014: USA 23 Man Squad

USA coach, Juergen Klinsmann, has selected his 23 man squad ahead of FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

Klinsmann has opted for a squad which draws upon experience for the USA, who will be hoping to at least match their 2002 best of reaching the Quarter Finals. (click here for the 2010 USA World Cup squad).

If the USA are to get into the knock-out phase of this World Cup, they will have to knock out more than one strong team in the group stage: they are drawn in the ultra-competitive Group G alongside Germany, Portugal and Ghana. They could easily find themselves without a point if they don’t put in three fantastic performances.
