Germany have announced their 23 man squad ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The side, coached by Joachim Loew, have a good deal of World Cup experience in their ranks, not least through forward Miroslav Klose, who has 14 World Cup goals to his name, though, at 36, may not be expected to play a full part in every fixture if Germany are to go the distance in 2014.

If Germany are to make it through to the knock-out stage, they must get through a tricky group G, which also contains Portugal, Ghana and the USA.
