Argentina coach, Alejandro Sabella, announced his 23 man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil in early June, and the two-time world cup winners once again field a strong squad, spearheaded by the highly talented Lionel Messi.
2014 represents a good opportunity for Argentines, too, for they have been drawn in a relatively easy group, missing more established national sides. Group F sees Argentina drawn alongside Bosnia & Herzegovina, Iran and Nigeria.
Some big names are as ever included in Argentina’s squad, and they will be hoping to go deep in a tournament at neighbouring Brazil.
