Football: FA Cup 2011 Fifth Round Results, 19-20 February 2011

Five FA Cup 2011 Fifth Round matches, and two Fourth Round Replay matches took place on the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th February 2011.

Manchester United came through their tie with Crawley Town with a 1-0 home win at Old Trafford, in the process removing the only remaining non-league team from the competition. Wes Brown was the scorer.

In their Fourth Round Replay, Chelsea and Everton played out a dramatic replay at Stamford Bridge, which Everton won on penalties after a last-gasp Leighton Baines free kick had leveled the match at 1-1 deep in Extra Time.

Both Birmingham and Stoke of the Barclays Premier League booked their place in the Quarter Final with a 3-0 home win over lower league opposition, while Manchester City took Notts County apart with a 5-0 humbling in their Fourth Round Replay match on Sunday.

Leyton Orient were the only lower league side to earn a reprieve in this weekend’s fixtures, when a late equaliser secured them a 1-1 draw with Arsenal and a replay at the Emirates Stadium.

In the all-Premier tie of Fulham v Bolton, it was Bolton Wanderers who ran out 1-0 winners courtesy of a 19th minute goal from Klasnic.

West Ham will play Burnley on Monday evening in the remaining FA Cup 2011 Fifth Round fixture.
