Football: Everton 0-1 Reading, FA Cup 2011 Fifth Round Result

Everton, of the Barclays Premier League, went down 1-0 at home to Reading in the FA Cup 2011 Fifth Round, meaning that the Championship side is the first from outside the Premier League to progress to the Sixth Round, quarter final stage.

Everton lost out to a 26th minute goal from Matt Mills to which they could find no response, despite 9 of their 15 shots hitting the Reading target on the evening of Tuesday 1st March 2011.

Reading will face another tricky away fixture in the next round, when they will travel to meet the winner of Manchester City or Aston Villa, who play their Fifth Round fixture this evening.
