Newcastle picked up three points with a 2-0 away win over Birmingham in their Barclays Premier League match on the evening of Tuesday 15th February 2011.

Lovenkrands got Newcastle off the mark in the second minute, and Best scored on 50 minutes to put the result beyond doubt before the FA Cup break this weekend.

Newcastle move up to 9th in the league, while Birmingham remain just three points from the danger zone, in 14th place.
