Below is the Barclays Premier League as it stood following the conclusion of match week 10 on Sunday 3rd November 2013.
Arsenal remained at the head of affairs, and extended their lead to 5 points over Chelsea, who slipped up at St James’ Park. Liverpool and Tottenham joined Chelsea on 20 points, a point ahead of Man City who finally got their scoring form back in style with a 7-0 victory over Norwich.
At the other end of the table, Sunderland remain ahead of Crystal Palace, though the Wearsiders are 4 points adrift of Norwich who make up the relegation positions. Norwich will be hoping to put this weekend firmly behind them as they look to move out of the drop zone. Stoke, Fulham and West Ham are all within two points, and Aston Villa and Swansea are also just one point away from them, in what is shaping up to be a very competitive season at both ends of the table.
