Six Barclays Premier League 2013/14 fixtures are scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday 9th November 2013.
Liverpool and Chelsea will be looking to make inroads on Arsenal’s 5 point lead at the head of the table as either side has a home match against bottom half opposition in Fulham and West Brom respectively. Arsenal have a big showdown at Old Trafford on Sunday so if either the Reds of the Blues can win on Saturday afternoon, they’ll feel Arsenal may drop points this weekend.
Elsewhere, Everton will be looking to maintain their current good early season form with a visit to bottom club Crystal Palace, who remain without a full-time manager following the recent departure by mutual consent of Ian Holloway.
Aston villa will host Cardiff City in a match which will see the winner put some distance between themselves and relegation – for the time being – and must therefore be considered a six point match, even at this early stage.
Southampton v Hull sees two in-form sides which might have expected to be nearer the bottom than the top showdown at an interesting point in their respective seasons, while the evening kick-off between Norwich and West Ham sees two reasonably good sides which have been underachieving of late each looking to get their season back on track.
An interesting Saturday of Premier League action awaits.
