If there’s one player who’s a counterweight to all the negative stereotypes about footballers, it’s Sadio Mané. The Senegalese is an exceptional player on the pitch, someone who can decide matches on his own and make a world-class team such as FC Bayern even stronger, with his experience, athleticism and composure. But he’s also someone who’s never forgotten his roots. He’s been involved in his home village of Bambali in west Senegal for years, building schools and hospitals.
