Even after sealing their eighth straight league title, the record champions remain hungry for success. Bayern claimed a deserved 3-1 win over Freiburg and handed chances to a couple of youngsters in the process. Twenty-one-year-old Sarpreet Singh made his first start, while Jamal Musiala became the club’s youngest ever Bundesliga player when he was brought on at the age of just 17. Talking of records, Robert Lewandowski’s brace saw him overtake Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the top-scoring non-German player in a single Bundesliga campaign.
